Our Story

We are a social enterprise cafe operated by partnerships of people with developmental disabilities created by Common Ground Co-operative. Our kiosks offer a wide variety of crafted hot and cold coffee and tea beverages alongside a a curated selection of snack items including artisanal baked goods, salads, and sandwiches.

Common Ground Co-operative offers an innovative model of social entrepreneurship and supports the creation and maintenance of social enterprises that leverage the talent and expertise of people with developmental disabilities.

A RECIPE FOR MEANINGFUL & FULFILLING LIFE

Our partners use their skills & talents to create employment for themselves through business entrepreneurship and earn a percentage income as non -share capital partners.

It all started in 1998 when a woman named Cathy and her mom created our sister social enterprise, Lemon & Allspice to enable her to pursue her passion in baking.
